Statistics Department)

Assume the responsibilities of the president
in the president’s absence

Along with the president, act as a liaison between the department and the
Biostatistics students

Keep an account of
the finances
- Distribute information to the graduate students
- Maintain and update BUGS website and BUGS e-mail list

Handle issues
relating directly to MSc students
- Along with the president, act as a liaison between the department and the MSc students
- Together with the PhD representative, act as the PHSSA representative*

Handle issues
relating directly to PhD students
- Along with the president, act as a liaison between the department and the PhD student
- Together with the MSc representative, act as the PHSSA representative*
- Maintain and update the comprehensive exams preparation binders

meetings and relay pertinent information to the students

Represent BUGS in
terms of space issues for the department’s move to a new building
