BUGS is the Biostatistics Union
of Graduate Students. All students enrolled in the MSc
or PhD program in the Biostatistics program at the Department of Public
Health Sciences at the University
of Toronto are members of this
organization. The main goal of the group is to organize social and
educational events for our students.
This website is designed to be a resource for all BUGS members, as well as
future incoming students. Here, you will find information about current
departmental events, BUGS social events and student seminars. For students
writing the comprehensive examinations this year, there are information and
resources available that can help you prepare for the exam. Prospective
students can find information about program requirements and a list of
resources that are available for you, once you arrive. Graduating PhD
students can find useful links to resources that are available at U of T to
guide you in writing strong thesis statements.
